2024 Les Fruits Rouges
We are fortunate to live in a time that is perhaps the Golden Age of pink wines. Candidly, the category was once fairly marginal, with rather a dearth of elegant (and dry!) examples. But the genre has dramatically improved in quality and grown in acceptance - no longer strictly seasonal - and it provides a great wealth of savory wines that well suit the foods we consume today. “Les Fruits Rouges” is a quintessential example of an utterly delicious pink - fruity while not being cloying with an almost saline savoriness that invites another sip.

Lovely aromas of watermelon and peach pick up a floral tone on the nose of this rosé blend of 72% Grenache, 26% Cinsaut and 2% Tibouren. Similar fruit flavors are encased in firm tannins on the broad and likable sip, cut by bright acidity.
